Do you believe in hypnosis? Do you believe in people claiming to know how to hypnotize other people? Do you want to know how to conduct hypnosis?
Hypnosis is said to be the mental state of a person being hypnotized, such as when your loved one can’t seem to hear you after shouting her name for the longest and the loudest time, as her mind is currently in a state of hypnosis. This happened after a hypnosis expert hypnotized your loved one using a series of hypnotizing suggestions. These may be in the form of reassuring and calming words or very soothing commands that your loved one’s mind couldn’t resist doing or being swept by it.
It is said that only a few people know hypnosis, that only those with the “gift of tongue” know how to conduct hypnosis. However, with the emergence of books that were written by hypnosis experts and practitioners, this theory has been debunked for good. Any one can now learn how to conduct hypnosis.
Here is a guide on what to do when conducting hypnosis:
To start off, ask a loved one properly about doing the hypnosis experiment with you. She should be willing enough to submit to your commands and must profess to you in writing that she is doing the hypnotism with you willfully and without any coercion from your end. This is in case your hypnotism experiment goes awry and your subject has difficulty going back to present time or to reality for that matter or she might become hospitalized due to headaches or memory loss, the more common side effects of hypnosis.
Once you have a willing patient with you, both of you must enter a “quiet sanctuary”. A room all to your own should do the trick. The space you have must be well-lit and well-ventilated. It should be spacious enough for walking around and should be away from any noise that might interrupt the hypnosis session. You could opt for chairs that both of you could sit on before and after the session. You could also bring with you into the room a voice recorder to record the proceedings and which your patient could listen to after the hypnosis to prove that an actual hypnosis happened and that she was successfully hypnotized.
Finally, begin the hypnosis proper using the Hypnotic Tonality Technique, which should usher in your patient to a trance or a hypnotic state. Accordingly, this technique makes good use of one’s voice specifically the monotonous kind. Once your patient becomes adept with the monotonous sound of your voice and is now in a trance, you can start suggesting to her what she should do then and there. You could ask her to sing or to go to sleep.
End the trance with a click of your finger or with the ringing of a bell. Remember to stop when you feel like you’re going too far especially if your patient’s safety or mental being is on the line.
