How To Explode Your Imagination To Genius Levels

by Xavier J. Murphy on September 10, 2010

Sometimes solving problems can be fun. Other times it can be maddening frustrating. When that happens, there isn’t much you can do. Maybe hope that something will come to you in a dream, or maybe you’ll get a flash of insight in those early hours of the morning. But what if there was a way to get genius inspiration any time you wanted? Keep reading, because there is.

The technique is from time to time referred to as “Borrowed Genius,” and was initially created by Win Wenger, author of “The Einstein Factor.” Fundamentally it involves a distinctive hallucination. Although if you wish, it can mean tapping into the super conscious mind that we all have access to. Whichever you believe, it will work just fine.

The essential principle is to stumble on an authority in the topic you are having your problems, or roadblock, and ask their opinion somehow. Napoleon Hill described this method as having a number of giants from American history over for dinner every Wednesday night. They would talk about problems of the day at length, and Hill would achieve valuable concepts. From Hill’s point of view, this was all make-believe, and only a way of circumventing his brains innate creativity blocks, but others may consider it an honest tapping into the abovementioned super conscious.

You may call your specialist over for dinner, or basically channel them through whatever technique you choose. The trick is to pretend with all you might that you are truly, in fact, speaking with this professional. The stronger your belief in the process, the better it will work.

You may choose to talk with your expert regularly, and create a connection with him or her. This way they will be much more willing to help you, and much more approachable, should the need arise. Nothing is worse than having a pressing problem and having to wait on a leisurely made-up expert.

Another more drastic approach was created by Wenger. This is best done by formulating your difficulty into a “How can I solve this problem,” kind of question. Then with the lone inquiry in the forefront of your mind, close your eyes.

Envision that you see your expert, or genius up ahead. They are facing away from you. Walk up gently behind them, and when you are settled right behind them, say the query to yourself one more time. Then reach up, grab their head, and hastily put it on your body. Quickly ask the question again, and see what response pops into your borrowed mind, with all the borrowed experience and expertise. Odds are you’ll come up with a doozy that you never would have thought of before.

Keep in mind that there is nothing miraculous or mystical going on here. You are only using a self created imagination to get your creative juices flowing. If it works, then use it. Einstein, as well as other amazing minds of science are well known for using crazy imaginations to help them come up with their ideas. If it worked for them, it can undoubtedly work for you.

Clearly and naturally direct your incredible subconscious mind power to discover a range of public speaking topics.
